Tonight it feels like they will come for all of us no matter what we say or do anyway.

Might as well go out with a Dead White Guy (tm) as my speechwriter.

You're exactly correct, which is why I embrace my presence on THE LISTS.

If this is your first trip to the ‘subversive’ list, welcome aboard! But also sort of shame on you for it taking this long! :)

Bidet's speech and your headline made me think of a quote:

"If the opposition disarms, all is well and good. If it refuses to disarm, we shall disarm it ourselves."

Joseph Stalin, 1927.

Edit: read the transcript in Newsweek, since it was a free article. It's even worse in text, if you can believe it. It's also an abundant quote-mine for anyone wanting to poke fun and display cynicisms about this and previous administrations:

""This is a nation that rejects violence as a political tool." Well, Bidet, that's a big fat 'F' in history for you then. Violence is the premier tool of politics - and if we're using reductio ad absurdum it is the only tool, as all governement and governance utlimately devolves to "Obey or else", "Because I say so", and "Because I can make you".

" Democrats, independents, mainstream Republicans must be stronger, more determined and more committed to saving American democracy than MAGA Republicans are to destroying American democracy."

Neat trick. He's calling for the Reps to support the Dems, otherwise they are Ze Bad Reps. You can expect more than half the Rep party to fall for it, going by political development in Europe since 1989.

"Ladies and gentlemen, we can't be pro-insurrectionist and pro-American. They're incompatible."

Ehm, Bidet? Methinks your Founding Fathers would disagree. Not to mention the loyal subjects to the British Crown. Few things are as arch-american as violent (if need be) insurrection against governement over-goose-stepping its bounds. There's that 'F' in history again. But I guess Bidet says "F history" anyways - especially his own regarding how he's voted and what opinions he's voiced in the past.

"...and today, America's economy is faster, stronger than any other advanced nation in the world." Really? And no journos challengs this load of tripe? He is flat out lying.

"No matter what the white supremacists and extremists say, I made a bet on you, the American people, and that bet is paying off, proving that from the darkness of Charlottesville, of COVID, of gun violence, of insurrection, we can see the light."

Vomit-inducing. You'd think there's no such thing as national database with racial and other demographic data. Black americans are what, criminal to a factor of 25:1 compared to whites? And other black americans being the most common victims of their fellows' crimes to boot! And he has the utter bloody gall to bleat about "white supremacists", of which there are in all probability fewer than 10 000 actual such nationwide in the US. Hey Bidet, do a poll among american moslems and jews, whether the Constitution and the law trumps sharia or not, why don't you, you unprintable so-and-so.

"We're going to end cancer as we know it." I... felt something. It was like a million oncologists all cried out "How?" and then were mysteriously silenced.

"That all deserve justice and a shot and lives of prosperity and consequence." Oh, the hilarity. A shot, is it? Wouldn't be a Covid-shot, would it?

"But history and common sense tells us opportunity, liberty and justice are all most likely to come to pass in a democracy." And again with the 'F' in history I see.

"We are the United States of America." And he chooses to end on what sounds as a fully intentional pluralis majestatis, to boot.

Our politicians are boring enough speechmakers to make paint flake, but this bombastic hyperbole delivered by a man (who should be sitting on a bench on his porch, muttering about 'durned kids, git offa my lawn') incapable of actually displaying the passion needed for it to work and become at least emotionally credible - no, just no. Big no, do not want. His handlers seems to have forgotten the words of Cato the Elder:

Rem tene, verba sequentur. (Grasp the subject; the words will follow)

Even Carter was a better speaker.

Rikard, you really need to check out Steve Sailer's blog at Unz Review. He keeps exploring some of these non-PC topics you mentioned in your comment. Conservative Inc. threw him overboard for his efforts in exposing the truth.

Z-man blog is excellent too. An incredibly smart, thoughtful guy.

What happened to Joe from Scranton? I'm starting to think he's not sincere about uniting the country.

Three years ago I never imagined that my government would try to imprison or kill me. Now I'm fairly certain that one or both are in my future.

For globalization to proceed, the nation-state needs to be destroyed. America is the biggest target and, thanks to the 2nd Amendment, the thorniest problem for the burgeoning NWO to solve. But, solve it they must, and here we are, waiting for The Regime to instigate an American Reichstag Fire to crush dissenters.

Here's an interesting read by a guy who claims to be a former spook. Keep in mind, it was written in January of 2019. https://metallicman.com/laoban4site/the-warning-signs-that-government-collapse-is-imminent/ His articles on what the left has planned for conservatives will keep you awake at nights.

God help us all from what's coming our way.
