I really wanted one with Xi but I couldn’t get a good pic of him whispering in someone’s ear (at least no one that I have another picture of him talking to). But this is still good.
So, I put some memes on yo' memes so you can meme while you meme.
Here's a swedish one, with a long-winded explanation:
Whenever anyone says anything which by drunken corkscrew logic can be made racist (like laying asphalt), people in on the joke might exclaim: "Häst mot soffgrupp!".
Häst is horse, mot is against (used like this), and soffgrupp is when you put a large sofa and some comfy chairs together as a group. It's a sound-alike pun on the name of the oldest swedish hate-speech law, hets mot folkgrupp, roughly "speech inciting hatred against ethnic group".
Since tha law, initially meant to stop one single looney tune with a grudge against a jewish colleague of his 70 years ago, has been expanded to people being jailed for not shaking hands (if they're swedish) or for trying to insist on shaking hands (if it's a non-moslem woman trying to shake the hand of a moslem man, non-believers being filth according to moslems here) it's is the subject of much ire and ridicule.
The moral of the story is never let go of your first amendment - we never had one, because they thought back then that we didnät need one, and now you can lose your job or even go to prison for saying "I don't approve of gay marriage in church".
Unfortunately the "become ungovernable" meme came far too late. Soon we will have no energy or food. It's hard to be ungovernable when they have you by the short and curlies because they are denying you energy and food.
The civil unrest is admirable but two years too late.
Ya gotsta love Artaud, Cocteau, and any other big toes from that era. They didn't let anything get in the way of weird. And in some instances, beautiful, as well.
To be boringly straight about this, if ‘education’ had really failed we wouldn’t have so much long form writing. But memes seem to have replaced the short form hits.
